Small PRs were the right answer for a team of humans writing code by hand. They’re the wrong answer for a team orchestrating AI agents that ship complete features. The discipline didn’t disappear. It moved downstream, to flags, scoped rollouts, and systems that make it safe to be wrong.

Interesting thoughts on code review. I don’t agree about rollbacks (roll forward always) but do with a lot of the rest. It seems like everyone and the proverbial dog is making a review bot. My hope is that we get a few that are clearly the best, model/provider agnostic, mostly without needing a lot of new domain knowledge docs, and we can adopt one, rather than build one more.
